Overview
Our English language school in Southampton is rated as excellent in all three categories of an ISA inspection. British Council recently inspected and accredited the school, finding key strengths in all 8 areas. Classes are small, teachers are qualified, experienced and friendly and the school offers a supportive, encouraging and safe place to learn.
About our courses
General English courses at our school are attended by military and civilian students from all around the world. Students are assessed and placed into classes suited to their level, from Elementary to Advanced.
General English courses are a great way to increase your personnel’s skills and confidence.
These courses are also designed to help them be prepared for UK training and include:
- conversational and social English
- reading, writing, speaking and listening
- spelling, punctuation and grammar
- study skills
- UK culture
Courses can be:
- 15 or 22½ hours each week
- from 3 to 36 weeks
- started on any Monday
- 1-to-1 as well as group classes
- designed to prepare students for IELTS exams.
